PRESIDENT'S PROFILE

Margaret Sefah

Margaret Sefah is a nationally respected Newborn Care Specialist, public health professional, educator, author, and founder of Our Joy Infant Care Inc., a premier newborn care referral agency established in 2009.

With more than 20 years of hands-on overnight newborn care experience and service to over 2,000 families, Margaret has built one of Illinois’ most trusted and referral-driven agencies. She leads a carefully curated network of more than 76 trained night nurses, newborn care specialists, and postpartum professionals across multiple states.

Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Public Health, and certification in Early Childhood Education. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate, guided by her belief that growth, excellence, and impact have no ceiling.

Her work extends beyond placements. As an educator and speaker, Margaret trains night nurses, daytime nannies, and registered nurses on structured, safe, and developmentally sound overnight newborn care practices. She frequently speaks at workshops and parent organizations, empowering families with knowledge and confidence during the newborn transition.

In addition to leading Our Joy Infant Care, Margaret is the founder of Treasured Lambs Academy and an author dedicated to raising the standard of newborn and early childhood care.

Through professionalism, cultural grounding, faith, and disciplined excellence, Margaret is building a legacy centered on nurturing families, elevating caregivers, and redefining newborn care standards nationwide.
